
J.F. Ricks Obituary, Death – J.F. Ricks, who had spent his whole life in Cadiz, Kentucky and had lived to the age of 82 when he passed away on December 12th, 2022 in the Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, Kentucky, was a resident of Cadiz the entire time of his life. It was on January 18, 1940 in Trigg County, Kentucky, that he was born to his parents, Earlie Preston Ricks and Annie Maud (Noel) Ricks, who have both passed away since then. He was named after his father. Earlie Preston Ricks was his father, and he was the son. He had worked as a contractor for a number of years, during which time he was also self-employed, and he was an avid fan of the racing series Nascar. During this period, he had also been self-employed.
In his later years, some of his favorite things to do included fishing, metal detecting, and playing the part of “J” with his grandchildren. Metal detecting was another one of his hobbies. He attended the Cadiz Baptist Church regularly throughout the entirety of his life and was a devout member there. In addition to his own parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Betty Thomas Ricks, as well as his infant son, Timothy Darren Ricks. Both of these people were his immediate family members. These two individuals were both members of his immediate family. In addition to this, he is revered inside the Ricks family as the ancestor figure known as the patriarch.
He is survived by his three sons, Jeff Ricks (and his wife Rebecca), Trent Ricks (and his wife Lori), and Joey Ricks (and his wife Beth), all of Cadiz; nine grandchildren, Zach Ricks, Zane (Savannah) Ricks, Zach Herndon, Kacie Ricks, Victoria “Tori” Ricks, Alexandria “Lexi” Ricks, Olivia “Livi” Ricks, and Maria “Mari Kate” Ricks; and three step grandchildren.The Goodwin Funeral Home, which can be located in Cadiz at 138 Main Street, is the company that is in charge of making the appropriate arrangements for the funeral. They are also the location where you can pay your respects to the deceased.
On the day of the funeral, which will be on Thursday, December 15, 2022, the family will begin to accept friends at the time of 10:00 a.m., and they will continue to do so until the beginning of the burial service at the time of 1:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday. The Lawrence Cemetery in Trigg County, Kentucky, will serve as the last resting place for the deceased.
