Jonathan was the family’s third youngest baby boy, but he was also one of the tallest, and many referred to and saw him as a gentle giant with a heart of gold, just a big old playful teddy bear. Jonathan is upbeat, funny, and thoughtful. He didn’t have much to offer, yet he was always willing to give you everything he had. When Jonathan was out and about, he was the first to greet everyone with a big bear embrace or his trademark “Hey man or hey gal.” Jonathan was the type of person that drew people to him. There were no dull moments. He exuded a strong sense of delight and vitality. He had enough amusing and strange stories to keep you occupied for a lifetime.

Jonathan was given a second chance at life and had a caring heart. He stood up for himself and battled for a better life. He wanted to buy acreage and get away from the craziness of the city. He bought eleven acres for his 31st birthday. He believed in turning down freebies and working hard to support his family. He wanted for better opportunities for his sons and family. He spent a long time working with Precision Flange and Machine. He changed his mind later that month, in October 2013, and began working for Frazer, where he began on the floor building and working on ambulances. Jonathan’s dedication and hard work were rewarded with a promotion to Service Team Leader.
