Ada Robinson Obituary, Death – Ada Martin Robinson, who resided in Clanton, Alabama, had reached the age of 94 when she passed away on December 11, 2022 within the confines of her own home. She was born on December 22nd, 1927 in the community of West Blocton, Alabama. Her parents were named Marvin Martin and Millie R. Martin. She attended Auburn University to acquire a degree in Science and then made the decision to work as a homemaker up until the time that she moved to Clanton. During that time period, she called Clanton her home. Her first teaching job was at Adair Middle School, where she remained for the next 25 years after beginning her career in education there. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and an active participant in the Clanton community.
Among those who are still with us today are her son Lyndon Keith Robinson, her daughter Dinah Marie (Philip) Callahan, her grandchildren Bradley Keith Robinson, Christine Marie (Garrett) Cheney, and Andrea Katelyn (Trevor) Fitzgerald, and her great-grandchildren Chloe Marie Cheney, Harper Ann Cheney, Jackson Lyndon Cheney, and Claire Elizabeth Fitzgerald. Her daughter Dinah Marie (Philip) Callahan was married to a man named Philip Her brother Marvin R. Martin and her brother Robert E. Martin, as well as her sister Virginia Conlon and her sister Eleanor Richardson, all passed dead before she did. Her father, Marvin Martin, and her mother, Millie Martin, as well as her husband, Lyndon Robinson, both passed away before she did.
At the funeral services that will be held at Martin Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., the Reverend Wes Kelley will serve as the presiding minister. The funeral services will be held at the cemetery. Following the conclusion of the funeral service, the body will be taken to the Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama, for the burial to take place.
