Eleanor Trowbridge Obituary, Eleanor Trowbridge has passed away unexpectedly

Eleanor Trowbridge Obituary,  Death – Eleanor M. Trowbridge, who resided in Spring Arbor and was originally located in Parma, passed away on December 11, 2022 at the age of 94. She was a much-loved aunt and sister-in-law. In Jackson, Michigan, on November 4, 1928, Eleanor Loud was brought into the world by her parents, Fred and Ethelyn (Bean) Loud. In 1945, she received her diploma from Parma High School. On June 24, 1961, she tied the knot with Gerald Trowbridge. Eleanor held positions as a bookkeeper for Ogle Brothers and the Jackson County Abstract Office, in addition to serving as an assistant to the Jackson County Comptroller. Together with her husband Gerald, Eleanor owned Trowbridge Oil Inc., which she aided in managing up to the time that she retired.

Eleanor and Gerald had a wonderful time going to see their relatives in Florida, and they also had a great time spending time with their friends and playing golf and cards. One of their favorite things to do was spend time at their cottage on Houghton Lake boating and fishing. Eleanor had been a part of the Parma Literary Club for a significant amount of time. Reading, going antiquing with her sister Dorothy and niece Betsey, going on outings with her niece Karen and friend Terri, completing jigsaw puzzles, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with her family and friends were all things that brought her joy. Through her compassion and kindness, Eleanor impacted a great number of people’s lives.

Her sisters-in-law Pauline and Aletta Loud, as well as her numerous nieces and nephews, including Betsey Stacks (Roger), Mary (Stan) Neff, Jenny Donner (Chris), Barry Loud (Danielle), Marlene Hedgspeth, Nancy (Steve) Solsberg, Fred Loud, Rick Loud, Karen Loud, Susan Cruthers, Diane (Bill) Zantop, Rick (Chris Her devoted husband Gerald Trowbridge, her parents Fred and Ethelyn Loud, her stepmother Ethel Loud, her siblings Dorothy Spry, Bill Loud, and Kenneth Loud, her brother-in-law Philip Spry, and her niece Kim Zantop all passed away before her. Eleanor received compassionate care from the staff at Arbor Oaks, Spring Arbor Assisted Living, and Gentiva Hospice, which the family would like to express their gratitude for.

Her cremation was carried out as she had requested before she passed away. There will be a gathering to honor her life at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Parma, which is located at 10661 W. This event will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022 on Michigan Avenue in Parma, Michigan 49269.
