Gary Tiller Obituary, Death – After a brief but valiant and difficult battle against cancer, GARY ROY TILLER passed away quietly while he was sound asleep on December 10, 2022. He had fought the disease for only a short time. He died peacefully while he was sleeping. Our hearts go out to you as we share this news with you since we are deeply sorry about the situation. Gary’s wife of 35 years, Patricia (Tish) Tiller, as well as his mother Marjorie and brother Jeff (Val and his nieces Chelsea and Jenny), Gary’s mother-in-law Alice Clift, Gary’s brother-in-law Tom Clift (Anne and his nieces Allison, Joannah and Maria), Gary’s sister-in-law Cathy Cunningham (Geoff and his nieces Jennifer and Jessica), and Gary’s sister-in-law Jennifer Clift (G (2018).
Gary felt that he connected with his animal family on a deeper level than he did with other people, and he believed that he was more of an animal person than a human person. He held a balanced reverence for the two different kinds of life. A voracious reader who also takes pleasure in a variety of other pursuits, including curling, cooking, and traveling. It is hard to determine the total number of hours that he spent taking care of his dogs and reading on the deck, regardless of whether he was at home or on a cruise ship. Whether at home or on a cruise ship, he did both of these things.
In addition to that, he hung out on the veranda outside the house and spent an interminable length of time reading. Even though Gary was an avid follower of both football and hockey, you were more likely to find him glued to the television on Sundays, watching whatever game or show happened to be on. Gary was never the center of attention when he got together with his family and friends, despite the fact that he valued spending time with those people very much. Everyone will experience loss in their own special way when he passes away.
