Harold Waters Obituary, Death – We regret to notify you of the passing of Harold Waters, who was a member of the Washington Engine Company for the past sixty years. It is with a sad heart that we share this news with you. It is with deep regret that we have to break this news to you, but it is necessary. In order to pay their respects to a member of the Croton Fire Department who passed away, the surviving members of the department will be invited to attend a wake on Wednesday, December 14 at 6:30 p.m. in order to attend the wake. The wake will take place at the Church of the Holy Name of Mary, which can be found on Grand Street.
The funeral service will take place there. As it is the expectation of the Croton Fire Department that its members will always dress appropriately, the members of the Croton Fire Department are required to always dress appropriately and wear either their full dress uniforms or another approved type of clothing at all times.
Both the funeral services and the mass that are scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 15 at 10:00 AM will be conducted at Holy Name of Mary Church, which will serve as the location for both of these activities. Holy Name of Mary Church will also serve as the setting for these events.
Following the conclusion of the burial service, the interment will take place at the Bethel Cemetery in Croton. If you are unable to do so, other members of the community are welcome to take your place.
