Jonathan Bell Obituary, Jonathan Bell Has Sadly Passed Away

Jonathan Bell Obituary, Death – Jonathan Bell has sadly and unexpectedly passed away. He was born on March 17, 1981, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jon went to Whittier Elementary School and Hunter Junior High School in West Valley City, Utah. He graduated from Idaho Falls’ Skyline High School. Later in life, he excelled at Stevens-Henagar College but was unable to continue owing to kidney problems. From 2000 to 2002, Jon conducted a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Indiana. He spent a significant portion of his mission on the Purdue campus and often related stories about it. Throughout his life, he held a variety of Church responsibilities, including Ward and Branch secretary, Sunday School President, and teacher for numerous callings.

He enjoyed Scouting (Eagle Scout), Aaronic Priesthood Quorums, Singles Branch activities, and assisting his wife, Sara, with the Sunbeams in Primary. Many people have commented that his prayers conveyed a lot about him because they were honest, straightforward, and powerful. Jon married his love and best friend, Sara Burch, on January 16, 2016, at the Rexburg Idaho Temple. Love, healing, service, and agonizing bodily concerns characterized their brief connection. Despite their handicaps, they have both shown remarkable faith and fortitude. Jon’s wife was by his side at all times, and their marriage was as strong as the titanium in his prosthetic leg.

Jon has had a variety of positions over the years. He’s previously worked at Campbell Striping, Jeff Wood Tree Service, Hyde Drift Boats, Idahoan Foods, Broadway Ford, Melaleuca, Pizza Hut, Bloxham Construction, Armory Plastics, Premier Technologies, Walmart, Teton Human Services, Brady’s, and, most recently, he and his wife stitched quilts. The Bell family wishes to express their gratitude to everyone who worked with, taught, and encouraged Jon during his time on Earth. They are especially appreciative for Michael’s great care at the Idaho Kidney Center and the Idaho Falls Community Hospital. Sara Bell, Jon’s wife, survives him. Stan and Candace Bell are his parents. Mindy McBrien, Blake (Heather) Bell, Monica Bell Little (Ryan), Spencer (Kellie) Bell, and Jordan (Courtney) Bell are his siblings.
