Jose Burgos Obituary, South Carolina Has Passed Away

Jose Burgos Obituary, Death – Jose “Pepin” Lazu Burgos Sr., who was 76 years old at the time, entered eternal life on July 26th, 2022. His grandparents, Antonio Burgos and Isabel (Lazu), as well as several of his siblings and Mason Montenegro, all passed away before him. His parents were also deceased. His devoted companion, Rose Marie Burgos (Dietz), as well as the couple’s children Jose Lazu Burgos Jr. (and his wife Maria), Jennifer Marie Miles (and her husband Daniel), Christina Ann Burgos, Rose Alina Summers (and her husband Jeremy), and Elizabeth Burgos, are among those who carry on his legacy. In addition to that, there are nine grandchildren (Liana, Ananicia, Mayli, Samara, Amaya, Alexia, Nolan, Jeremiah, and Laulau).

Jose emigrated from Puerto Rico when he was a young man and made his way across the United States before settling down in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was there that he started a family. Although Jose spent many years working in the welding industry after graduating from MATC with a certification in the trade, music was always his first and foremost interest. Jose was a musician who had taught himself to play and had a career spanning decades in the local music scene. Jose was known to wear a variety of hats. He was skilled in a variety of trades, including carpentry, painting, and playing a number of instruments, including the guitar.

He was the life of the party for his family and friends, always making sure that everyone was having a good time and keeping everyone entertained. Above all else, Jose was a devoted family man who delighted in sharing the joys of love and life with his loved ones, both during the holidays and on other special occasions. During this trying time, the family would like to take this opportunity to extend their appreciation to everyone who has been there for them. A celebration of life will be held on October 22nd, 2022 for immediate family and close friends, to be followed by a service at Forest Home Cemetery at a later date that has not yet been determined.
