Kevin Pitman Obituary, Death – Kevin Matthew Pitman passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the age of 38. This news comes to us with heavy hearts as we share it with you. Unexpectedly, he passed away in the comfort of his home in Fanning Brook, Prince Edward Island. He was the cherished son of Richard and Joan (Chetwynd) Pitman of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and the adored spouse and soul mate of Robert Warren of Fanning Brook, Prince Edward Island. He was also the beloved husband of Robert Warren. Kevin Pitman was a devoted brother to his siblings, Craig Pitman (Ryan Mckenzie) of Halifax and Marla (Mathieu) Germain of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
He was also a proud uncle to Téa and Chloe Germain. In addition, Kevin is leaving behind his puppy, Summer, and his cat, Kitty, both of whom will miss him tremendously. Kevin brought joy and happiness into the lives of everyone he met. He and Rob were inseparable co-pilots in the journey that was their life. They enjoyed their rural house, exploring back roads, gardening, and of course watching movies, which was one of Kevin’s greatest pleasures. Rob passed away in 2005. In addition to having a soul that was generous, compassionate, and forgiving, Kevin was also highly creative.
He painted, drew, and wrote about the beauty and mystery he observed all around him on a daily basis. His life, despite being brief and private, was rich, and the manner in which he embraced his authentic self and lived each day to the fullest influenced many others in his immediate environment. Everyone who had the opportunity to spend time with him and get to know him will feel a profound loss at his passing. The world is a better and happier place thanks to him, and his love will continue to be felt in everyone of our hearts forever.
