Marc Ellis Obituary, Longtime German Shepherd Schutzhund Club Member Has Died

Marc Ellis Obituary, Death – On December 11th, one of our own, Marc Ellis, was sadly and unexpectedly taken from us when he was slain in an accident involving a hit and run while he was attempting to aid a stray dog that was on the road. The accident occurred as Marc Ellis was attempting to help the stray dog. As soon as Marc saw the dog on the road, he pulled over to offer assistance to it. Accident struck as Marc Ellis was attempting to help the stray dog that required assistance while at the same time accident hit.

The event took occurred as he was traveling to the spot where the puppy had been found, and he was on his way there at the time. At that precise moment, Marc was attempting to regain control of the dog by wrestling with it. Marc was a long-standing member who participated in trials with his dogs Parker and Quin, volunteered his time to serve on the Helper Committee, and helped a significant number of dogs in their pursuit of getting certified as trial helpers. Even though Marc’s initial plan was to participate in the event in 2023, he was informed that he will be helping out with the front half of the competition at the CWDF All Breed Championships in 2021 and 2022.

This is despite the fact that Marc’s original intention was to compete in the event in 2023. Marc was taken aback by these shocking revelations. Marc represented the highest level of sportsmanship and demonstrated that he was a true gentleman both on and off the field with each and every broad grin that he flashed. Both on and off the field, Marc was a gentleman. In all of the incidents he was a part of, whether they took place on or off the field, he never broke the rules. Gone but never forgotten. RIP Marc.
