Shane O’Neill Obituary, O’Dempseys GfC Mourns Shane O’Neill’s Death

Shane O’Neill Obituary, Death – The passing of Shane O’Neill brought an immense sense of grief to everyone working at O’Dempsey’s GFC very immediately after the news of his death was made public. During this trying time, we would like to offer our most sincere condolences to his wife Martina, his sons, and the rest of the O’Neill family. We are sorry for the loss of your loved one. We are sad to hear of the passing of a dear one in your family. We are deeply saddened to learn of the demise of a member of your family’s close circle of friends.

As you and your loved ones go through this extremely difficult time together, we want you to know that each and every one of us is keeping you and your loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.  Please accept our condolences. We are sorry that you are having to deal with such a difficult situation. Shane was waiting inside the clubhouse for everyone to return after the game was over so that he could offer some drinks to the players as well as the fans of the opposing team. As soon as the game was ended, he carried out the action.

His son Eimhn, who is also the Young Player of the Year for our Club, acted as captain of our Minor team when it competed in the County Final at the beginning of this year. Our Minor team won the competition, and Eimhn was named Young Player of the Year. As a direct result of Shane’s passing away, those who were closest to him, including his family and friends, in addition to the rest of the community of Portarlington as a whole, will experience a huge feeling of loss. This includes those who were closest to Shane. This is due to the fact that the events that took place directly contributed to Shane’s untimely death.
