Timothy Stauffer Obituary, DEATH – The final care for Timothy “Tim” Leigh Stauffer, who resided in Polo, Illinois and passed away on December 8, 2022 at the age of 72, was provided at the OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois. Timothy “Tim” Leigh Stauffer was brought there by his family. The most recent 43 of those years have been spent by him working as a laborer for the Local 727 Union, which is an organization that is classified as a union. Tim’s key responsibilities included working outages at nuclear reactors, removing hazardous waste and asbestos, working on roads and pipelines, and working on roads and pipelines. He also worked on roads and pipelines. Tim Stauffer was brought into this world on December 2nd, 1950 in the town of Amboy, Illinois.
He is the son of LeRoy Stauffer and Patricia (Arend) Stauffer, and his parents’ names are both LeRoy and Patricia. On January 18, 1986, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dixon, Illinois played host to the wedding ceremony that officially united him with Colleen Beard as his bride. The ceremony went forward exactly as it was intended to. Above all else, the time he got to spend with his wife Colleen, his children, and his grandchildren was the thing that he treasured the most. In his spare time, he enjoyed going on fishing trips and vacationing with his wife in exotic locations such as Hawaii and Cancun (Zoey, Nevaeh, and Brutus). He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Colleen Stauffer, of Polo; two sons, Timothy B. (Peggy) Stauffer of Rochelle and Jake A.
(Tanya Drabek) Stauffer of Beloit, WI; one daughter, Kelli M. (Sam) Riggen of Dixon; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Julie B. Johnson of Dixon. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War He had previously fought in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a veteran of the conflict. He was a seasoned veteran of the United States Air Force, having completed his service in that branch of the armed forces in the past. Before Tim’s own passing, his grandmother, both of his daughters (Kristi L. Stauffer and Kari B. Stauffer), and one of his grandchildren all passed away (Riley Riggen).
The memorial visitation will begin at eleven in the morning on Friday, December 16, 2022, and will continue until the time of the memorial service, which will take place at one in the afternoon. The memorial service will be held on Friday. It has been determined that Pastor Jack Briggs will preside over the ceremony, which will be held at the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon and will be attended by both immediate family members and extended family members and friends. There have been rites performed that are connected with the cremation that have taken place. A memorial has been placed here in their honor as a means of remembering those who have passed away.
