Christopher Raccio Obituary, Death – On December 5, 2022, Christopher John Raccio, age 23, passed away in a manner that was unexpected. Christopher Raccio was a native and lifelong resident of Killingworth, Connecticut. He was born on September 2, 1999 in Meriden, Connecticut, to parents John and Lorine (Russillo) Raccio. In addition to Christopher’s parents, his loving sister Alexandra Raccio, who resides in Killingworth, is one of the people he leaves behind.

Christopher was recognized as an Honor Student while he was a student at Haddam-Killingworth High School, where he received his high school diploma. Christopher continued his education after graduating from high school by enrolling in the University of Connecticut (UCONN) at Storrs, where he majored in Economics and also studied Business and Political Science. During his time at UCONN, Christopher also worked as a student government leader. Christopher attended the University of Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Political Science.

Christopher was an enthusiastic weightlifter and practitioner of many forms of martial arts in addition to being a member of the Killingworth congregation of The Living Rock Church. He participated in Jiu-Jitsu both in the community and at the University of Connecticut, where it was a club sport. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts, the wrestling team at the middle school, and the town’s Little League baseball club when he was younger. After that, he headed over to H-K Boys’ High School to train with the wrestling squad there. In addition, he was a member of the Drama Club and took part in various productions both in middle school and high school.

Christopher was a devout Christian who advocated for Christian values. He frequently engaged his family, friends, and acquaintances in profound discourse and vigorous arguments on a variety of topics, including theology and politics. The qualities that people will most remember about him are his sense of humor, his quick wit, and his concern for other people. His numerous friends and family members will miss him tremendously in this life and the next. The Memorial Service for Christopher will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 10:30 a.m. at The Living Rock Church in Killingworth (138 CT-81, Killingworth, CT 06419).
