Floyd Peck Obituary, Death – Floyd D. Peck, 68 years old, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, with his family by his side. Floyd D. Peck was a previous resident of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. He was a former resident of McConnellsburg. Floyd Peck was born on February 26, 1954 in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. His parents, Sammie A. and Gladys Shoemaker Peck, had both passed away prior to Floyd’s birth. Floyd was their son. Floyd’s work experience includes stints at JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, Staples in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and then Giant supermarkets in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. All of these jobs were located in the state of Pennsylvania. He loved going on vacations and watching football, especially games involving his all-time favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers, as well as NASCAR racing. Floyd attended services at the Greencastle Church of the Brethren during his religious life.
Floyd is survived by his companion of 14 years, Darlene Seiders of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, as well as by five of his siblings: Sam Peck of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, Gary Peck of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, Nancy Eichelberger of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, Doris Strait of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, and Carol Waters of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. In addition, Floyd is survived by his companion of 14 years, Darlene Seiders of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania In addition, Floyd leaves behind a sizeable brood of nieces and nephews in addition to other relatives. Floyd’s two sisters, Jessie Mellott and Erma Henry, as well as his mother and father, Sammie and Gladys Peck, both went away before to Floyd’s passing. Floyd was the last surviving member of his family.
On the day of the funeral, Monday, December 19, 2022, the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania will be open from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service for people to pay their respects. The funeral service will start at eleven in the morning. The burial will take place at Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, immediately following the funeral services there.
