Jean Hammond Obituary, Royal Caledonian Curling Club Ladies Jean Hammond’s Death

Jean Hammond Obituary, Death – It is with deep sadness that I must inform you of the passing of Jean Hammond, a longtime participant in the Peebles Ladies Curling Club. I am sorry to have to break this news to you, but it is something that needs to be done. I am sorry to be the one to break the disappointing news to you, but unfortunately it is required. Jean devotes a lot of her time and energy to the sport of curling, and as a result, she was successful enough in that sport in 2012 to win first place in the Scottish Seniors Championship. Barbara, Maggie, and Valerie, who were all members of the Scottish Seniors squad and played with Jean on the same team, emailed me this eulogy to her friend Jean. Barbara, Maggie, and Valerie also played with Jean on the same team. That team included Jean as one of its players.

What else is there to say about Jean than the facts that he is a committed friend, an exceptional teammate, and a tough competitor out on the ice? Because of the force of her voice, we were all aware that the floor needed to be cleared before she began performing, and as soon as she began performing, we cleared the floor. When she was not skating, she was a lot of fun to be around and a delight to have in the company of. She was a pleasure to have in the company. She will be sorely missed in many significant ways for a considerable amount of time to come, and the void she leaves will be difficult to fill.

Jean was a major contributor to our success in our very first competition as a group, which resulted in us taking first place in the Scottish Seniors Championship and then in the World Seniors Championships, both of which were held in Denmark. This was our very first competition together and we won both of these competitions. Our very first competition as a team resulted in two victories for us, and we were victorious in each of them. This victory marked the very first step on our path to becoming world champions in our individual age divisions, and it set the tone for the rest of our trip.
