John Crosson Obituary, Death – The news of the passing of John Crosson, a soldier who served during the Battle of Arnhem, has left us with heavy hearts. He was a brave fighter during that conflict. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time. The accident that befell John while he was a patient in a nursing home prevented him from ever making a complete recovery from the injuries he sustained in the fall. On December 6th, he passed away without having to go through any hardship or agony in his final days on this earth. John exemplified the characteristics of a gentleman in every sphere of his life, from his professional career to his personal relationships.
To have been able to count him as a friend and to have had the chance to get to know him is something that I have always thought of as a wonderful honor and a source of tremendous delight. It has been a great honor for me to know him over the course of these many years. Everyone who had the good fortune to know him will feel a tremendous sense of loss at the news that he has passed away. John Crosson, a soldier who served in the King’s Own Scottish Borderers and who was there at the Battle of Arnhem, is said to have vanished, according to recent sources. Crosson was present at the battle.
Accidents happen, and it’s a horrible thing for John that the accident that took place at his nursing home ultimately led to his passing. John was one of the residents there. Before a few years ago, he was a frequent passenger on the adventures that involved the taxi service. Recently, he has not taken part in this activity. My hope and prayer is that you, John, will one day be at ease. John spent some time working as a member of the KOSB with the 7th Battalion.
