Joseph Gathje Obituary, Death – An accident involving loading equipment claimed the life of a young man from Lanesboro who was traveling through Iowa at the time of the tragedy. The incident that led to the accident occurred in the state of Iowa. According to the incident report that was filed by the Iowa State Patrol at the intersection of Vanderbilt Ln. and 160th St., an individual by the name of Joseph Gathje, who was 21 years old, was discovered pinned underneath a sizeable piece of equipment that had been tacked down.

The accident resulted in the loss of a single life. The victim of the accident was examined at the scene of the accident, and after further examination, it was determined that the victim had passed away.
