Damien Amaral Obituary, Death – Damien I. Amaral, 04, of Pembroke died unexpectedly on December 11, 2022, at Boston Children’s Hospital surrounded by his beloved family. Damien was a young man full of personality and charm. He was constantly in a pleasant mood and made everyone around him smile and laugh. He made a lot of friends at CNK Daycare in Pembroke, where he also went to school. Damien was Daddy’s right-hand man, always by his side, helping him with any and all house projects and chores. He was the epitome of chivalry, never passing up an opportunity to pour praise on his mother while also making her aware of his great affection for her.

Damien’s best friend was his sister, Ellie, and the two of them spent almost all of their time together inventing up games, building forts, and just enjoying each other’s company. Being wild and silly, riding his quad and tractor, swimming, anything construction-related, and spending time with his family were among his favorite activities. Damien’s kind-hearted, unselfish, and selfless personality will be remembered. Everyone who had the privilege of calling him a friend will miss him and remember him fondly.

The cherished grandson of Bridgewater’s John and Fernanda Amaral, Taunton’s Karen Monahan, and Hawaii’s George Perry and his wife Tricia. Many people adored his great-great grandson, Zilda Chaves of Middleboro. Among those who mourned his death were Andrew Amaral and Nanette Amaral of Michigan, Julianne Monahan of Taunton, Massachusetts, Keith Perry of Fall River, Massachusetts, Daniel and Holly Perry of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and the late Elizabeth Monahan of Taunton. A large number of cousins are also present.

The Chapman Funeral Home in Bridgewater will have a visitation on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. During this period, relatives and friends are politely requested to pay their respects. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said in remembrance of the departed on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater. Following the funeral, the remains will be taken to Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater for burial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Genesis Foundation for Children.
