Joel A. Donselar Obituary, Joel Allen Donselar, age 52 of Spring Lake, passed away unexpectedly

Joel A. Donselar Obituary Death – Unanticipatedly, Joel Allen Donselar, age 52, of Spring Lake, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital. He was taken from this world in a manner that was completely unexpected. He was the son of Elaine (Kooi) Donselar, who was born on October 24, 1970 in Grand Haven, Michigan, and Henry Donselar, who had died away. Henry Donselar was his father. In a wedding that took place on August 19, 2017, Joel Moll and Dannielle Moll tied the knot in the city of Twin Lake, which is located in the state of Michigan. Joel started his career as a self-employed contractor immediately following his graduation from Grand Haven High School. During this time, he was involved in a wide range of projects that were all connected to the realm of building and construction. His career in the construction sector came to a close with Morris Builders in Rockford, where he held his last position before retiring.

Joel was good at woodworking. Spending time in nature was something that he and his family enjoyed doing together and some of their favorite hobbies were going camping, fishing, and spending the weekends driving through the sand dunes at Silver Lake. Joel placed a high priority on being able to contribute in some way to the Grand Haven neighborhood in where he lived. Together with his wife, he decided to make contributions of Christmas meals in order to assist the families of Grand Haven High School students who were having trouble making ends meet. Joel and Dannielle took joy in working on a broad variety of projects, the vast majority of which benefited people in some manner, such as building Christmas planters, birch wood candle holders, and cornhole boards. This gave them the opportunity to express their creativity while also helping others.

His wife, Dannielle, his two daughters, Gentry Donselar (Andrew Young) and Rylee Collins, his two sons, Derek Donselar and Joel Collins, his siblings, Steve (Brenda) Donselar, Debra (George) VanderWeide, and Doug (Melissa) Donselar, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Laura Moll, and his sister-in-law all have fond memories of Joel and miss His passing came after the deaths of his parents and his brother, Tim Donselar, who all occurred before his own. The Memorial Service for Joel will be place at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:30 pm. The date and time of the service are subject to change. On the day of the service, on Saturday, from 12 until 1:30 in the afternoon, the funeral home will be open for viewing. This will take place shortly before the service. The funeral and burial will both take place at the Robinson Township Cemetery.
