
Ken Balcomb Obituary, Death – It is of the utmost importance that Ken Balcomb’s family convey the news that he died away this morning, December 15, 2012, to everybody and everyone who knew or cared about Ken, and it is their moral job to do so as quickly as humanly feasible. His incredible journey through life was cut short by a disease that he and his family were aware of for a considerable amount of time before he passed away. At the Big Salmon Ranch, which is located above the Elwha River and is owned and operated by the Center for Whale Research, he spent his final days and took his last breath in peace and comfort, with professional care, and surrounded by his loving family.

At the Big Salmon Ranch, he was able to live out his final days and take his last breath in an atmosphere of calm and tranquility, attended to by trained medical professionals.
