Adam Wilhelm Obituary, Death – Adam WILHELM (Big “A”) On Father’s Day, at the age of 87, he passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He had reached the age of 87 years. devoted companion of Mary for the past 63 years (Buttl). Fr. Dennis Wilhelm, Sue Hotham and Bernie, Carol Rice and Jeff, Mark (Gus) and Katie and Michael, and Carol Rice and Jeff all passed away before him. Carol Rice and Jeff were also among those who died before him. Gerald, his firstborn son, passed away prior to his father’s passing. We would like to express our gratitude to you for being such a wonderful grandfather to our children and their spouses: Brad and Anita, Allison and Jamie, Adam and George, Matthew and Crystal, Colin and Lacey, Patrick and Meggan, and Trevor and Taylor.

His three grandchildren, Jaxson, Avery, and Mason, referred to him as “Big Papa.” He was the brother of Ann Strahl, and his brother Nick and twin sister Kay Stanko predeceased him. Ann Strahl was his sister. Additionally, a sizable number of the deceased person’s nieces and nephews have made it. During World War II, Adam was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy and served for a cumulative total of six years away from home. In addition to that, for a considerable amount of time, he was an engaged member of the Church of the Most Precious Blood. Visitation will take place at the funeral home owned and operated by Janisse Bros.-Marcotte located at 1139 Ouellette Avenue on Tuesday evening between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 p.m., and then again on Wednesday between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 and 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.

The evening prayers in the parish will start at 8:00 o’clock. On Thursday, June 25, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the family and friends of the deceased are cordially invited to continue paying their respects at Most Precious Blood Church as the visitation continues. The Christian funeral service will get underway at ten in the morning. Heavenly Rest Cemetery is the location where the interment will take place.
