Her name is now known to the general public. The Hockley County Sheriff’s Office provided us with this information and we are grateful to them. They were the ones who made it available to us. At 10:45 in the morning, firefighters from the communities of Wolfforth, Carlisle, and Shallowater in Lubbock County were dispatched to 6791 Fox Road in order to extinguish a fire that had begun to develop on the property and was in the process of becoming more extensive. As soon as the firefighters arrived, the blaze was quickly brought under control. During the investigation of the residence, deputies from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office discovered the decomposing remains of Edith Ostrander, who had reached the age of 75 at the time of her dying.
The body of the deceased individual was found in the place. According to the findings of the HCSO, the most significant contributor to Ostrander’s passing was asphyxiation, which was brought on by the inhalation of smoke. This conclusion was reached based on the findings of the HCSO. It was widely believed that this was the key factor that led to Ostrander’s demise. According to the Henrico County Sheriff’s Office, the cause of the fire has not been determined as of this time; however, it is assumed that there were electrical issues within the property itself. The statement that was released by the HCSO indicates that the findings of the full autopsy are not yet ready to be disclosed to the general public at this time. The investigation is still being carried out at this day in spite of the fact that the authorities have said that “no criminal infractions are claimed to have occured.
