Gerry Martin Obituary, Gerry Martin Has Passed Away Unexpectedly

Gerry Martin Obituary, Death – After his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his devoted family members by his side, Gerry Martin, a resident of Pennfield Ridge, was honored by his community after he passed away there. The passing of Gerry has helped bring the community even closer together. His mother was Imelda “Mildred” (Chiason) Martin, and his father was Elmer Martin, who passed away. The life of Elmer Martin has come to an end. He came into the world on September 28th, in the city of Chatham, in the province of New Brunswick.

Gerry was a talented and skilled Steamfitter and Pipefitter, and he retired after having worked as a Steamfitter and Pipefitter for a combined total of around 45 years before taking his retirement. He retired after having worked for both Local 213 and Local 488 before taking his retirement. He participated in a wide variety of activities that brought him pleasure, such as going hunting, driving all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) off-road, and hanging out in the bud shack with his friends. He was devoted above all else to his obligations as a father and grandfather, but he also had a strong interest in automobiles. He was an avid racecar driver.

Gerry is survived by his devoted daughters, Lesli, Shannon, and Courtney (Eric), all of whom live in Saint John; his one and only granddaughter, Sophie; his brothers Adelard and Joseph “Butch”; his sister Patricia Tays; all of whom also live in Saint John; in addition, a large number of nieces, nephews, and friends survive him. Gerry’s sons Gerald and Trevor, together with his brothers Brian and Gerald, and his sisters Sandra and Joanne, all passed away before he did. Also predeceasing Gerry were his brothers Brian and Gerald. In addition to his parents and siblings, Gerry was predeceased by his two sons. He also lost both of his parents.
