Mike Greenhill Obituary, Death – Michael Ross Greenhill, age 65, of Madison, Mississippi, died on December 11, 2022. Born on July 30, 1957, in Jackson, Mississippi to Michael C Greenhill and Imogene Greenhill. In 1975, he obtained his diploma from Jackson Preparatory School. Mike married Debbie Berry, and the couple had three children: Michael, Lauren, and Lindsey. Mike was the President and sole proprietor of Greenhill Management, an insurance brokerage. He began his career as an insurance agent at the age of 25 and went on to develop a highly successful agency.
He was a full-time musician before beginning work in the insurance industry. He was often singing and strumming his guitar. He was a performer, and some of his happiest times came during these times. He truly enjoyed playing host. He had the opportunity to perform alongside some of the area’s most skilled musicians. His most recent band was called Greenfish. He was a devoted family man who relished his responsibilities as a spouse, father, and grandfather. His affection for them was limitless. He found the most delight in spending time with his loved ones. Furthermore, he was a close friend to a large number of people.
Mike’s wife of 43 years, Debbie Greenhill, is the only one he leaves behind. His children are Michael (Taylor) Greenhill, Lauren (Deen) Barrier, and Lindsey (D.J.) Goolsby. He is survived by his five grandkids, Bryce Greenhill, Ryder Goolsby, Korbin Goolsby, Riggs Barrier, and Scarlett Greenhill, in addition to his children and wives. His father, Michael C. Greenhill, and mother, Imogene Greenhill, died before him, as did his brother, Jeff Greenhill. He is the sole survivor of his immediate family. A funeral service for the dead will be held on Thursday, December 15, at the Parkway Funeral Home. Instead of flowers, donations in remembrance of the deceased should be donated to Christians in Action, Inc., P.O. Box 7676 Jackson, Mississippi 39284, as requested by the family.
