Timothy Albright Obituary, Death – We are saddened to inform you of the demise of Timothy Albright Sr., who had been a Life Member for the previous 51 years. His passing comes with our condolences. This is a piece of news that we have to deliver to you with a heavy heart. Tim’s dedication to the Athens Fire Department and the community over the period of three decades has resulted in a considerable amount of positive change for a huge number of different people. Tim started working for the department the next year, in 1971, which marked the beginning of his career there. When we last saw him, he was serving as the treasurer for the W.C. Brady Hook and Ladder Company, an organization in which he was a member. During the time when the idea for the device was being conceived, he served as a member of the W.C. Brady ETA 2-1 committee. He also served on the committee after the idea was conceived.
He was in charge of arranging and monitoring all of W.C. Brady’s bazaars during the entirety of his career. These bazaars were organized on a regular basis. Because of the nature of his job, he has had the opportunity to counsel and educate a substantial number of drivers on how to improve their driving techniques. While you are saying your prayers, would you please also remember to put his family and the family who lives in the firehouse in your thoughts and prayers?
